Budget Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a Budget Specialist to join our Finance team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on planning, tracking, and analyzing budgets and financial strategies, offering vital financial insights that aid in making informed business decisions.

Primary Duties

• Coordinate with departments to prepare and monitor yearly budgets and financial forecasts.
• Assess actual financial outcomes against budgeted plans and conduct variance analysis.
• Generate regular reports on budget performance and financial forecasting.
• Examine financial data, spending, and budget usage to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Support different departments in designing and overseeing their financial plans.
• Assist with updating forecasts based on actual results and shifting economic factors.
• Evaluate financial trends, expenses, and budget results to deliver actionable insights and advice.
• Create and maintain budget models and detailed financial reports along with necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to guarantee accuracy and uniformity in financial data.
• Help enhance procedures for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Professional certification in finance or accounting is advantageous.
• At least three years’ experience in finance, budgeting, financial planning, or equivalent roles.
• Hands-on expertise in budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and variance review.
• Experienced in the preparation of financial analyses and reporting.
