Job description
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Architect with specialized expertise in fit-out design for luxury hotels based in Riyadh. This role involves leading architectural efforts to ensure designs meet high-quality standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take charge of fit-out design and implementation for upscale hotel interiors, crafting innovative and functional architectural solutions.
- Oversee project schedules, financial resources, and teams to guarantee delivery within agreed timelines and costs.
- Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to junior architects and design personnel.
- Translate design ideas clearly to clients and integrate their input effectively.
- Ensure technical feasibility by closely coordinating with engineering departments.
- Review and sanction architectural documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and legal regulations.
- Maintain active collaboration with clients, contractors, and consultants to facilitate seamless project progress.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, novel technologies, and best practices in luxury hotel fit-out design.
- Participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives to uphold site safety protocols.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive expertise in fit-out architectural design focused on luxury hotel projects.
- Competency with architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring design teams.
- Creative aptitude for developing elegant yet practical design solutions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is considered an advantage.
- Excellent skills in communication and client presentations.
- At least 10 years of total professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years dedicated to fit-out projects within the luxury hotel sector.
- Prior work experience in the GCC region is desirable.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
