Senior Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a focus on technical expertise to join our expanding Technical Architecture Team within the Property & Buildings Business Unit in the Middle East. This role, based in Dubai, UAE, offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of complex and high-profile architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire technical development process of architectural projects, from initial concept through to construction completion.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate comprehensive design packages, including detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with the relevant local authority regulations, international codes, and specific project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines such as Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, and Specialist Consultants to ensure multidimensional coordination.
• Support and help facilitate BIM implementation and maintain technical coordination throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and respond to shop drawings, material submissions, Requests for Information (RFIs), and technical queries during construction stages.
• Champion technical quality, design consistency, and assurance across all project deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects and team members to develop their skills.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience with a strong focus on technical design and project execution in the architectural field.
• Demonstrated track record working in leading architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary consultancy firms.
• Proficient in Revit, BIM workflows, AutoCAD, and construction document preparation.
• Excellent skills in coordination, communication, and managing stakeholders effectively.
• Experience working on projects within the Middle East region is highly advantageous.
