Senior APEX / ADF Programmer

About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior APEX / ADF Programmer to architect and create applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle ADF platforms. This role involves crafting data models, designing user interfaces, ensuring seamless integrations, and maintaining high standards of usability, security, and system performance. The programmer will also support operational environments and drive modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Create applications leveraging Oracle APEX and Oracle ADF technologies and frameworks.
• Develop interactive APEX pages, ADF task flows, and reusable software components.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, database triggers, and functions.
• Integrate the applications with RESTful and SOAP web services and other enterprise systems.
• Apply best practices for UI/UX including compliance with localization and accessibility standards.
• Implement security measures including session protection and data-level security controls.
• Manage deployment procedures across development, testing (UAT), and production environments.
• Provide thorough documentation and user guides.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to maintain consistency across applications.
• Identify and recommend improvements for modernizing existing systems.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience working with Oracle APEX.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle ADF development.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle ADF, PL/SQL programming, REST and SOAP web services, WebLogic server environment, user interface design, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Oracle ADF/Java or Oracle APEX are advantageous.
• Previous work experience on projects for government or public sector clients in the Middle East region is beneficial.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is preferred.
