Senior Analyst - Digital & Data Transformation

About the Role

Join PwC New Zealand's Digital & Data Transformation consulting team based in Auckland or Christchurch. As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with senior client executives and leadership to address complex business challenges using AI, cloud, and digital technologies. You'll help craft AI and cloud strategies, design target architectures, operating models, business cases, and technology roadmaps to drive value for clients and develop future capabilities.

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Contribute to diverse projects including AI strategy, cloud transformation, data and analytics, technology modernization, and digital operating model design.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to encourage responsible adoption of emerging technologies, foster innovation, and achieve measurable business results.
• Work alongside consultants, architects, and engineers to define and deliver AI-enabled transformations.

Required Skills and Experience

We seek a motivated Senior Analyst with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and a strong enthusiasm for AI, cloud, and digital transformation. A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce or related fields is preferred.

• Demonstrated skills in several of the following areas: AI strategy or implementation (including Generative AI, intelligent automation), cloud engineering or migration (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), business and technology strategy, technology/cloud/enterprise architecture, data and analytics platforms, digital transformation program delivery, IT operating model design, capability/business/domain architecture, scaled agile delivery, technology strategy/due diligence/transformation advisory.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or advisory roles and the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to translate business challenges into practical technology-driven solutions.
• A passion for continuous learning and guiding organizations to responsibly adopt AI and cloud innovations to enhance customer, employee, and business outcomes.
