Position Overview
TechHeads is collaborating with a prominent global company expanding its AI engineering capabilities based in Dublin. We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer specializing in Generative AI to become a key player within a growing Technology Transformation team. This role involves hands-on engineering combined with active engagement with business leaders to develop, deploy, and scale GenAI solutions that generate real business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy GenAI and agentic AI solutions.
- Transform successful proof-of-concepts into scalable, production-ready applications for broad business adoption.
- Leverage Python, AWS, and modern Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks in building AI solutions.
- Develop RAG/Graph-RAG models, AI agents, and workflows involving multiple steps.
- Create APIs, integrate systems, and develop reusable AI components.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements.
- Assess and prototype emerging AI technologies rapidly to explore their business potential.
- Ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and provide measurable business benefits.
- Own the full development lifecycle rather than handing off to separate teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a software/platform engineer who has transitioned into Generative AI implementations, rather than purely research or data science roles.
- Advanced Python software development capabilities.
- Hands-on work with AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and applications involving Large Language Models.
- Expertise with AWS cloud engineering, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or CrewAI.
- Experience using vector databases and retrieval tools like Qdrant or PGVector.
- Proficiency with Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
- Track record of transitioning AI solutions from proof-of-concept phases to full production deployment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
- Additional beneficial experience includes Kubernetes, Terraform, MLOps/LLMOps practices, AI monitoring and evaluation, or working in regulated industries.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary between €100,000 and €120,000 depending on experience.
- Bonus incentives.

Working Arrangements
This is a permanent position located in Greater Dublin requiring a minimum of four days onsite per week with occasional flexibility for remote work.
