Role Summary

The Senior Accountant role is a full-time position based in Doha, focused on overseeing daily accounting tasks and facilitating precise financial reporting to aid business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, manage accounts payable and receivable, conduct bank reconciliations, and handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Compile, review financial statements; track cash flow and ensure proper recording of revenues and expenses.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting procedures and assist during internal and external audits.
• Guarantee adherence to accounting standards, local laws, and company policies.
• Deliver financial analyses and reports to management to guide business growth and decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated competence in core accounting duties and financial reporting.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, conducting variance analyses, and managing cash flow.
• Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance processes, including audit support.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced use of Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
• Previous work experience in a senior accounting role is preferred, especially within service sectors such as facilities management or hospitality.
