Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Midlands team based in Longford. The ideal applicant should possess 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience within a general practice environment and be eager to advance their career at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for companies (excluding audit), sole traders, and partnerships up to the Partner review stage while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Compile and submit Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns accurately.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of VAT, RCT, and PAYE returns in a timely manner.
- Manage the preparation and submission of CRO documentation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive and solution-oriented communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Holds a professional accounting qualification, either ACCA or ACA.
- Robust experience in general practice accounting coupled with skills to support junior staff development.
- Highly motivated individual with a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Confident communicator with strong technical accounting knowledge.
