Our Dungannon branch, previously known as K. Magill & Co., is experiencing rapid growth and transformation. We seek a qualified accountant to join our portfolio team, a newly created position offering robust career advancement prospects while serving a dynamic SME client base.
Key Duties
- Compile financial statements for a variety of clients including companies (excluding audit), sole proprietors, and partnerships, preparing them up to Partner review and ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations.
- Prepare and submit Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns accurately and timely.
- Manage the preparation, review, and submission of VAT, RCT, and PAYE filings.
- Handle all aspects of Companies Registration Office (CRO) documentation preparation and filing.
- Provide mentorship and professional guidance to junior staff members to foster their growth and development.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess between 1 and 4 years of experience in general accounting practice.
- Hold ACA or ACCA qualification or be working towards completion (part-qualified).
- Demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for working with SMEs and be keen on building a career within a growing professional services organisation.
Work Model and Compensation
This role follows a hybrid working model based at the Dungannon site.
Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
