Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join us at our locations in Heidelberg, Hamburg, or Munich and help shape the digital future of global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from acquiring clients to creating proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Engage in both direct and indirect acquisition of new customers.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers systematically.
- Serve as the main contact for clients, coordinating ongoing projects and programs.
- Design customer-focused solutions in close collaboration with the Pre-Sales team.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners, in a professional manner.
- Optimize sales processes and maintain documentation, including CRM system upkeep and independent pipeline forecasting to uphold Sales Excellence.
Desired Profile
- Several years of experience in sales-related roles such as Pre-Sales or Account Management within software and service industries.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to convince complex buying centers of our portfolio’s unique selling propositions.
- High affinity for the IT sector, with SAP knowledge being advantageous.
- Goal-oriented, independent, flexible, and resilient work style.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, combined with confident and persuasive presence.
