Security Executive

About the Role

As a vital member of our team, you will lead and manage the hotel’s security department to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. Your role involves supervising daily operations, guiding security personnel, handling emergencies, and maintaining compliance with safety standards to create a secure environment filled with hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols across hotel premises to detect and address potential safety and security issues.
• Lead and coordinate responses during emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats.
• Train, schedule, and oversee security staff performance, providing continual support and leadership.
• Perform initial investigations of security incidents, record all relevant details, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Encourage strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols among the security team.
• Provide direct support by stepping in as a security officer when necessary.
• Ensure guest and employee safety by managing access control, enforcing safety measures, and diplomatically addressing concerns.
• Conduct security audits, ensure compliance with regulations, and update policies to mitigate emerging risks.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within security, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership capabilities and effective team management skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of security operations and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness during stressful situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and coordination.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and security operations are desirable.
• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
