They are focused on expanding their junior sales team and seek outstanding Sales Development Representative (SDR) leaders to join their ranks.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-oriented SDR manager to lead a dynamic team of 6 to 8 motivated junior salespeople. This position is ideal for someone transitioning from a top-performing SDR or BDR role into leadership, or for current managers eager to take on greater challenges. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, with direct responsibility for coaching, motivating, and fostering a high-achieving sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-8 SDRs, ensuring consistent achievement and surpassing of targets.
  • Manage daily performance metrics and conduct structured coaching sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members as the team expands.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to influence team strategy and optimize sales processes.
  • This is primarily a managerial role with no mandatory personal sales targets, although engaging in direct sales activity is possible and rewarded with excellent commission opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $40,000 achievable, linked exclusively to team performance.
  • Earn a 10% commission on meetings and sales personally generated.
  • Daily breakfast and snacks provided.
  • Fully stocked drinks fridge for Friday social gatherings and celebrations.
  • Contribution towards private healthcare.
  • Dedicated personal gym budget and discounted membership options.
  • Personal learning and development budget.
  • Recognition rewards for milestones including cash incentives and additional leave days.
  • Additional leave benefits, including birthday off and increased days awarded with tenure.
  • Budget allocated for team incentives and activities led by you.

Support and Career Growth

The company offers substantial support and guidance from senior leaders invested in your growth as a manager. You will have clear career progression opportunities across multiple channels, including international options within affiliated global offices. The company culture is high-energy, competitive, and social, celebrating achievements with events such as Swans box seats, overseas high achievers trips, Melbourne Cup boxes, and frequent company-wide festivities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven leadership capabilities, especially as a people developer and motivator.
  • Experience as a high-performing SDR or BDR preferred but not mandatory.
  • Competitive drive and passion for building and sustaining a successful sales team.
  • Willingness to take ownership of team success and be a hands-on leader.

Additional Information

If you have a passion for sales leadership and are ready to make a meaningful impact, this role offers a fantastic platform for your career growth. You do not need prior management experience with teams of this size but must be a natural leader.
