Job description
Overview
The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL), which supports 56 schools and 9 early learning centres in ACT and NSW, is seeking a full-time School Fee Support Officer based in Griffith, ACT. This role is vital within the School Fee Support Team of the Finance and Infrastructure Service Area and reports to the Senior Fee Support Officer.
Key Responsibilities
The officer will collaborate closely with school principals and CACGEL to efficiently manage school fees and related accounts. Key duties include monitoring receivables, assisting with fee concession evaluation and administration, managing credit processes, and overseeing external debt collection. Consistent and accurate application of fee management procedures aligned with organisational standards is essential.
Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or substantial experience in an analogous position.
- Current registration for Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Capability to attain and maintain accreditation under the Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn framework.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
