Position Overview
St Mary MacKillop College, the largest secondary school in Canberra spanning two campuses, is inviting applications for a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their academic team starting Term One, Monday 25 January 2026. The role emphasizes fostering a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment, catering to students across Years 7 to 12. Role Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a supportive, nurturing classroom environment conducive to effective learning.

- Utilize student performance data to inform teaching approaches and improve learning outcomes.

Candidate Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor or Master of Teaching qualification.
- Possess ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
- Be registered with ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
- Maintain accreditation aligned with Work Teach and Lead policies of Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn.
- Meet eligibility criteria as an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for employment.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and active participation in training.

Salary & Employment Details
The salary band ranges from $85,694 to $141,638 (full-time equivalent) plus superannuation, determined by accumulated teaching service duration.
