Commerce Teacher

Position Overview

Scotch College in Perth is seeking a dedicated full-time Commerce Teacher for a permanent role starting January 2027. The role primarily focuses on delivering exceptional education in Business Management and Enterprise, Accounting, and Finance to Years 11 and 12 students. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience teaching Economics.

Candidates Profile

• Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and be registered with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Western Australian curriculum and modern educational practices.
• Ability to create differentiated, challenging, and engaging learning experiences.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Organised with excellent planning and time management abilities.
• Commitment to student pastoral care, child safety, and upholding Scotch College's values.
• Cooperative team member willing to contribute positively to staff culture and co-curricular programs.
• Desirable but not essential: experience in teaching Digital Technologies.
