Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at an educational facility in Newcastle. The role requires working Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm, leading and supporting cleaning teams within school environments to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and ensure effective, safe service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support cleaning personnel onsite to maintain quality and compliance.
- Perform quality inspections and uphold safety guidelines.
- Manage task assignments, conduct inductions, and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Serve as a communication link between the site and company management.
- Assist with staff rostering, monitor attendance, and coordinate workflows.
- Ensure high standards of presentation and service are consistently achieved.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning supervision or similar leadership roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional personal appearance and strong dedication to safety.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Possession of a current Police Check.
- Mandatory Working With Children Check.
