Job description
Overview
MAC.BID specializes in buying truckload quantities of customer returns and surplus merchandise, subsequently auctioning these products individually to consumers via online platforms. The role of the Scanner Associate is to accurately capture and upload detailed product data for auction listings using proprietary scanning software. This position works under the direction of the Scan Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently scan and input item details into the system to generate auction listings.
- Conduct online product research as needed.
- Capture and edit photos by screenshotting and cropping for listings.
- Verify and amend item information to ensure completeness and precision.
- Fulfill quantity and quality targets set by management.
- Perform additional assignments as delegated by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Commitment to onsite work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds individually and collaboratively lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity and comfort with web browsers and software such as Google and Amazon platforms.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong technology aptitude.
- Able to follow written instructions and adhere to company policies.
- High School diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
