Scanline Floater

Job Overview

At MAC.BID, we acquire truckloads of customer returns and overstock items, subsequently selling them individually via online auctions. The Scanline Floater position involves preparing and positioning products for the scanning team, handling scanned items, and organizing them based on our system. This role reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine incoming products for visible defects.
• Classify each product into categories such as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Conduct basic testing of electronic items to determine their condition.
• Transfer products to conveyor belts for scanners to process.
• Promptly remove products from the scanning area after scanning.
• Organize and shelve products in the bays according to auction and lot numbers.
• Contribute towards achieving team quantity and quality targets.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and removing trash in empty bays and the mobile scan area.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Comfortable using technology and tech-savvy.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capable of following written instructions and adhering to company policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
