Job Overview
MAC.BID specializes in purchasing truckloads of customer returns and overstock items, then reselling them individually through online auctions. The Scanline Floater plays a critical role in preparing and organizing products for the scanning team as well as removing items once scanned, following systematic procedures. This role reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine incoming products for visible defects.
- Classify each item as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
- Perform basic functionality tests on electronics to determine general condition.
- Transfer products onto conveyor belts for scanning.
- Efficiently remove items from the scanning area post-processing.
- Relocate products to designated bays and arrange them on shelves according to auction and lot numbers.
- Support the team in achieving quantity and quality targets.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and clearing trash from empty bays and scanning areas.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Capability to lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds with team support.
- Comfortable with technology use.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Competent in following written instructions and company policies.
- Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent qualifications.
