SAP Retail Consultant

Role Overview

Our international client seeks an experienced SAP Retail Solution Architect to spearhead the architecture and governance of a comprehensive retail solution within the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role focuses on integrating critical retail components including merchandising, omnichannel commerce, POS, warehouse management (EWM), and the SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and govern enterprise-wide solution architecture encompassing SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, EWM, POS, and e-commerce systems.
• Architect omnichannel retail solutions to unify physical stores, digital commerce platforms, and distribution channels.
• Lead deployment of SAP CAR functionalities such as POS data ingestion, demand consolidation, and real-time analytics for retail operations.
• Define comprehensive retail processes covering merchandising, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and omnichannel fulfillment workflows.
• Ensure robust integration between retail systems, supply chain management, and financial modules.
• Provide authoritative architecture governance spanning functional, data, and integration domains.
• Support rollout strategies across initial pilot markets and broader implementation waves.

Required Expertise

• Proven expertise with SAP S/4HANA Retail module.
• Strong experience with SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR).
• Deep understanding of omnichannel retail system architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Retail Point of Sale (POS) system integration.
• Extensive experience in enterprise SAP solution architecture design and governance.
