Role Summary

The SAP Project Manager will oversee the entire SAP S/4HANA implementation project, managing daily operations to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery aligned with business goals. This includes planning, resource coordination, scope definition, progress monitoring, risk handling, and partnering with internal teams and external vendors to successfully deploy SAP S/4HANA solutions in Brisbane, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones from start to finish.
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables collaboratively with stakeholders and business leaders.
• Coordinate activities, assign resources, and ensure project goals are met effectively.
• Act as the primary communication liaison for all stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, vendors, and senior executives, managing expectations and resolving conflicts.
• Lead, manage, and mentor project teams comprising internal staff, consultants, and vendors to foster collaboration and focus.
• Identify and manage risks and issues proactively, devising mitigation strategies and communicating updates timely.
• Ensure quality standards are met through oversight of testing, validation, and user acceptance testing processes.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and provide regular status reports highlighting accomplishments and challenges.
• Effectively close out projects by finalizing documentation, recording lessons learned, and arranging post-implementation support.

Qualifications and Experience

• 12 to 15 years of project management experience, with at least 3 to 5 years leading SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-wide system implementations.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, functionality, and system integration.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related fields; Master’s degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodology credentials.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective organizational and time management capabilities.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position in Brisbane is AUD 150,742 to 171,215 per annum, subject to internal adjustments.
