SAP PPQM Consultant

About the Role

Capgemini is looking for experienced SAP PPQM (Production Planning & Quality Management) consultants to join our team across Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad locations with hybrid work options. The professionals will focus on implementing and configuring SAP PP and QM modules to enhance manufacturing and quality management operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP PP and QM modules tailored to support production planning and quality management workflows.
• Analyze complex business needs and deliver SAP-based solutions that improve production and quality control processes.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements, design solutions, and offer technical expertise.
• Manage enterprise structure and master data such as materials, BOM, routing, production versions, and configuration.
• Handle demand management and planning strategy group configurations.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with classical and live MRP processes, shop floor control configuration and application, capacity planning, scheduling, serialization, and batch management.
• Configure processes including repetitive manufacturing (REM) and production planning in process industries (PPPI), and integrate PP with other SAP modules.
• Develop RICEF/custom developments including FSD, OSD, and conduct testing cycles like FUT, FIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Perform in-depth analysis of business processes to identify requirements and deliver system solutions effectively.
• Conduct workshops to extract precise business requirements.
• Possess knowledge in IDOC message types, monitoring, error identification and reprocessing, quality notifications, and certificate printing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA platforms is advantageous.
• Customize, design, configure, and test SAP PP and QM modules according to client needs.
• Identify and resolve gaps or issues by proposing appropriate workarounds.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients regarding troubleshooting PP/QM related concerns.
• Develop various documentation including Business Requirement Documents, UAT, SIT, end-user manuals, functional specification documents, and configuration documentation.
