Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to architect, develop, upgrade, and support robust digital platforms and critical enterprise applications. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership across frontend, backend, integration, cloud-native approaches, and DevOps methodologies.

The successful candidate will turn business requirements into secure, scalable technology solutions, set reusable coding standards, influence architectural governance, and mentor teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain secure, scalable full stack applications with high availability.
• Translate business and functional needs into detailed technical designs, architecture decisions, and project delivery strategies.
• Develop cloud-native microservices using containerization and API-first approaches.
• Engage in architecture reviews, technology evaluation, engineering standards definition, and roadmap planning.
• Stay hands-on with coding, problem-solving, technical investigations, and resolving complex production issues.
• Design and implement responsive single-page applications using Python, React, Next.js, TypeScript, and web standards.
• Develop reusable UI component libraries and design systems utilizing tools like Tailwind CSS, Radix, or ShadCN.
• Deliver role-based dashboards, accessible user interfaces, efficient state management, data fetching patterns, and fluid workflows.
• Optimize frontend performance, user experience, maintainability, browser compatibility, and accessibility compliance.
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or NestJS including REST and SOAP APIs, integration layers, and event-driven workflows.
• Implement security features like authentication, authorization, role-based access control, logging, idempotency, and error handling.
• Design configurable workflows, approval chains, task orchestration, and automation of regulatory processes.
• Integrate internal systems, external providers, and enterprise applications via synchronous and asynchronous APIs and messaging technologies.
• Create data models and persistence layers on platforms such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Oracle, or MySQL, ensuring transaction safety, optimized queries, integration resilience, and recovery from failures.
• Package and deploy applications leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, health checks, and operational dashboards to ensure system reliability.
• Drive automated builds, testing, security scans, deployment, and rollback to improve release stability.
• Support infrastructure automation and maintain environment consistency using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, conducting thorough code and design reviews, and promoting best practices.
• Collaborate across roles including product owners, analysts, architects, QA, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and release teams.
• Oversee technical estimation, sprint planning, dependency and risk management, and project delivery governance.
• Produce clear architectural documents, technical specifications, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, documentation, testing, and code quality under governed workflows ensuring compliance, security, and intellectual property controls.
• Evaluate emerging engineering tools for practical adoption in line with enterprise standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering full stack applications.
• Experience building enterprise-grade, scalable, and mission-critical digital platforms.
• Proficient in developing cloud-native and microservices architectures.
• Experience in leading technical teams, guiding engineers, and working in Agile frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities alongside effective stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Must have experience in mobile application development and creating responsive user interfaces.
• Exposure to content management systems is advantageous.

Technical Competencies

• Frontend technologies: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3; SPA architecture and responsive designs.
• Backend development: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, with microservices focus.
• API & integration: REST, SOAP, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms like IBM MQ or Oracle AQ.
• Database systems: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL; relational database design, performance tuning, transaction handling.
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm, CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins; monitoring and logging practices.
• Engineering practices: Git version control, code reviews, secure coding, design patterns, automated testing, Agile delivery, and thorough documentation.
