Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Functional Consultant with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and support. The ideal candidate will possess over six years of relevant SAP consulting experience and be adept in both greenfield and brownfield S/4HANA projects as well as ECC environments, addressing real-time scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and support initiatives, including conducting workshops and solution demonstrations.
- Manage general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), asset accounting, procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), automatic payment programs, electronic bank statements (EBS), and document splitting functionalities.
- Stay updated with latest changes in both S/4HANA and ECC platforms and apply knowledge to projects.
- Design and configure chart of accounts incorporating asset, bank, and integration accounts.
- Configure SAP tax settings and ensure seamless financial integration with procurement (PTP) and sales (OTC) processes.
- Handle bank accounting configuration, AR and AP payments including Direct Media Exchange (DME) and bank reconciliation processes.
- Design and implement automatic payment processes covering various payment types such as direct debit, cheque, debit card, ACH, lockbox/SEPA/BAI2, MT940, etc.
- Manage new asset accounting setups and configurations within SAP.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant SAP consulting experience focusing on finance modules.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA finance implementations as well as support and enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA financial modules and real-time transactional scenarios.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial processes including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, P2P, and OTC.
- Proven ability to conduct business process analysis, map processes into SAP solutions, and deliver workshops.
- Familiarity with integration points between finance and other SAP modules such as procurement and sales.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is between 1,200,000 and 2,200,000 INR annually.
