We currently have an opening for a Principal SAP Enterprise Solution Architect to join our thriving SAP Architecture Practice based in Canberra. This senior strategic leadership role focuses on presales and business growth within our Australia and New Zealand operations, playing a key role in guiding DXC clients through their SAP strategy and IT roadmap planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a senior specialist architect within a consulting practice with regional or global focus, primarily managing the sales and solutioning aspects of professional architectural services.
• Support and execute market strategies to cultivate profitable projects aligned with DXC's growth objectives.
• Contribute to the development of DXC's SAP Public Cloud solution offerings and presales materials to assist clients in adopting best practice and standardized SAP solutions.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing within the SAP solutioning consultant teams to enhance capabilities across architecture groups.
• Oversee key client engagements ensuring all solutioning and architectural requirements are met with foresight toward future-proofing.
• Develop strong business relationships with current and potential clients, delivering thought leadership and identifying innovative growth opportunities for both clients and DXC.
• Influence direction and decisions at the executive level and develop compelling proposals and winning themes, actively participating in sales pursuits.
• Lead evaluation efforts and business case development for DXC clients.
• Deliver presentations to large groups of senior decision-makers, clearly communicating vision and objectives to garner support.
• Contribute to solution analysis and scope definition for new projects, working closely with commercial and legal teams to define scope, deliverables, and client responsibilities clearly and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent blend of education and professional experience is required; Master's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of industry or client relationship experience along with ten or more years of relevant consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP modules including Supply Chain Management, Financials Management, Asset Management, and SAP edge products, or other SAP solutions.
• Experience across multiple industries in systems design and development is desirable.

Additional Information

This role involves engagement primarily with New Zealand clients but also supports projects across Australia and New Zealand as part of the regional teams. As a client-facing position, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
