Position Overview

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sanitation Workers to maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards at our Alberta Central Kitchen located in Rocky View County. The role demands ensuring all areas of the facility, including warehouses and equipment, meet HACCP standards and contribute to a safe and organized workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Central Kitchen, warehouse spaces, equipment, and nearby properties as per HACCP guidelines.
  • Perform sweeping, scrubbing, and sanitizing of floors; manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
  • Support a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment across all shifts.
  • Regularly lift items up to 50 pounds; occasionally assist with lifting over 88 pounds requiring two-person team lifts.
  • Operate effectively in a refrigerated environment with temperatures between 1–4°C.
  • Work night shifts and weekends as assigned to meet operational needs.
  • Follow and enforce all company safety regulations and maintain MSDS catalogues as required.
  • Participate in additional duties as assigned to support team and operational goals.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sanitation is mandatory; experience with power jacks or warehouse environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cleaning solvents, chemicals, and related materials.
  • Capacity to maintain a steady work pace in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong teamwork attitude, self-motivated disposition, and commitment to safety standards.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Information

This position requires reliable personal transportation as the location at 5284 Alberta Central Kitchen is inaccessible via public transit. Candidates must provide proof of legal work eligibility during onboarding.
