About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Technical Architect to spearhead the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and practices. This role requires partnering closely with stakeholders to interpret complex business needs and translate them into robust systems within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete technical architecture design of Salesforce solutions, maintaining enterprise consistency and adherence to best practices.
  • Advise on sustainable and scalable solutions for sophisticated business processes centered around CRM strategy and system architecture.
  • Work collaboratively with Enterprise Architects and cross-disciplinary teams to strategize integration and data migration between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
  • Create detailed system architecture documentation and uphold compliance with designated development standards and methodologies.
  • Drive technical excellence across application development, middleware layers, and multi-tiered Salesforce architecture.
  • Ensure the implementation of strong security frameworks, sharing models, and coding standards aligned with Salesforce best practices.
  • Manage data architecture concerns including database design, data integration, migration, and deployment approaches.
  • Lead technical discussions independently during discovery and requirements gathering phases.
  • Evaluate Salesforce org health and manage technical debt effectively.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in at least two Salesforce domains such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Offer technical leadership utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, API integrations, design patterns, and web services.
  • Utilize source control systems and champion Agile development in CI/CD settings.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders including senior leadership to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases to assess impacts and identify enablement opportunities.
  • Guide strategic build versus buy versus extend decisions and document associated trade-offs.
  • Support version control, branching, packaging strategies, automated testing, and release scheduling.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in hands-on Salesforce architecture.
  • Expertise in the Salesforce platform development including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Integration APIs, and web services.
  • Practiced in Salesforce Apex programming and integration design patterns.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, and best practice adherence.
  • Experience in data integration, migration, and deployment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of varied implementation standards and software development methodologies.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer with at least two additional Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Marketing Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience using source control tools like Git and delivering solutions within Agile and CI/CD frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Copado is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
