About the Role
We are looking for an expert in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and Tax Integration to assist in meeting regulatory requirements in Qatar. The position centers on the deployment and management of SAP DRC tailored to Qatar's legislation, ensuring seamless integration with the General Tax Authority (GTA) tax systems, and maintaining compliance in invoicing and vendor invoice management processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer SAP DRC solutions specific to Qatar's regulations.
- Prepare systems for electronic invoicing and upcoming digital tax initiatives.
- Create and manage integrated solutions connecting SAP with Qatar's tax portals using APIs, XML, and SAP middleware.
- Manage the invoice lifecycle across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Invoice Management modules while ensuring tax compliance and audit-readiness.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Qatar's Corporate Tax legislation and assist in preparing tax reports, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams (FI, SD, MM, VIM) and support integration testing, user acceptance tests, and deployment activities.
- Provide advanced production support and troubleshoot issues related to tax portal connectivity, invoice validation, and submission errors working alongside external vendors and authorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of SAP experience, especially in SAP DRC, eDocument, and Automated Compliance Reporting (ACR).
- Proven expertise with tax compliance solutions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Invoice Management (preferably OpenText VIM).
- Experience integrating SAP with government or tax authority portals.
- In-depth knowledge of Qatar's Corporate Tax system and GCC regional compliance initiatives like VAT and e-invoicing.
- Familiarity with SAP middleware platforms such as CPI, PI, PO and technologies like XML, APIs, and web services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing GCC tax and e-invoicing solutions in UAE, KSA, or Qatar.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's ZATCA or UAE e-invoicing frameworks is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Professional SAP certifications related to Finance or Compliance.
