Join one of the world's leading IT distributors where technology is not just delivered but future innovations are shaped for our partners and their customers. We have an opening for a Sales Support Specialist to be part of our Customer Success Team based in Macquarie Park, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves detailed analysis of sales performance data to spot trends, assess pricing tactics, and streamline sales processes with the goal of enhancing sales outcomes, operational productivity, and business growth. You'll manage and nurture relationships with assigned partners and vendors, collaborating closely with the vendor team and other partner channels as needed. Acting as the primary liaison for vendor sales and internal sales teams, you will also support various functional departments within the company. Expertise in vendor-specific details, technologies, and customer portfolios is essential, along with a broad knowledge of Tech Data's product lines and business units.
Providing exceptional sales assistance and customer service is crucial, which includes handling inbound and outbound communication through telephone and digital channels to manage quotations, sales orders for products, services, and renewals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required.
- Strong proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Customer-oriented approach with proactive work ethic and ability to operate independently.
- Experience with bills of materials, quotation processes, and ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
