Job Summary
We seek a methodical and detail-focused Sales Representative skilled in generating precise and competitive sales quotations tailored to product configurations and client specifications. The role bridges sales, operations, and technical domains by converting technical and commercial inputs into formal offers, supporting the sales team with swift, accurate, and compliant pricing and configuration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deliver exact sales quotes based on set product configurations and customer needs.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Analyze requests such as RFQs, RFPs, BOMs and customer demands to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Use internal configuration software, CPQ platforms, pricing tools, and catalogs to configure solutions.
- Guarantee pricing precision, adherence to margin policies, and compliance with company approval processes.
- Work collaboratively with sales managers, pre-sales engineers, product managers, and operations staff.
- Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team during the sales cycle.
- Handle the entire quotation process, including updates, approvals, and tracking.
- Ensure prompt turnaround times while upholding high-quality and accuracy standards.
- Maintain current CRM, ERP, and internal records.
- Stay updated on product modifications, pricing adjustments, and configuration guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields, or commensurate practical experience.
- Minimum two years in sales support, inside sales, quotation management, or comparable roles.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical curiosity or keen interest in technical products and solutions.
- Capacity and eagerness to learn complex configurations, tools, and systems.
- Prior experience with CPQ tools, ERP, or CRM systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and juggle multiple quotations simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- German language skills are highly desirable and considered a significant asset.
Preferred Experience
- Background in IT infrastructure, hardware, or technical solution sales.
- Understanding of pricing strategies, margin computations, and discount frameworks.
- Experience working within international sales settings.
