About the Role

As a Sales Manager at Kempinski Hotels in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, you will be instrumental in achieving hotel revenue targets by optimizing income from an assigned set of accounts and expanding client acquisition within designated markets. These markets may adjust based on hotel strategy, with a current focus potentially including European regions. Your success will be gauged primarily against the hotel's revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts or geographic sectors to maximize revenue, meet personal targets, and grow market share against competitors.
  • Identify and engage new prospective clients within allotted markets.
  • Oversee all segments of assigned market areas, potentially including European territories.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to maintain client relations and property knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and follow up on tentative bookings within the assigned markets to maximize conversion.
  • Maintain detailed intelligence on competitors and their offerings.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's services and relevant data.
  • Secure timely client contract renewals and negotiate annual rates to optimize yields.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales blitzes, workshops, and similar events within assigned markets.
  • Support Directors of Sales by contributing to the development and execution of annual sales action plans.
  • Provide statistical data and sales forecasts to aid annual budget preparation.
  • Carry out sales initiatives within established cost budgets.
  • Document all sales efforts in Sales Force Automation (Sales & Catering module).
  • Keep the OPERA contact database current at all times.
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities with other Kempinski Hotels.
  • Align with the company's sales vision and participate in the Duty Manager rotation schedule.
  • Strictly adhere to the Employee Handbook and hotel policies regarding fire safety, hygiene, health, and general safety; proactively report and address hazards.
  • Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as assigned to meet evolving business needs.

Eligibility and Additional Information

Applicants should be prepared to work full-time onsite in Al Khobar. Further terms and conditions are as per company policy and may be provided during recruitment.
