About the Role
Join Marriott Executive Apartments as a Sales Executive in Doha, Qatar, where you will be integral in ensuring excellent guest service while promoting the Marriott brand. This role involves handling guest communications, maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques, and supporting operations within Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with relevant departments such as Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting to resolve guest inquiries and issues.
- Apply sales strategies to increase revenue, including up-selling while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Allocate complimentary rewards to guests, including rewards points, show tickets, and gift certificates, as tokens of appreciation.
- Raise and uphold brand awareness both internally and externally.
- Manage reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations through phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards details accurately into designated software during reservation processing.
- Handle all guest calls and requests professionally, addressing their concerns promptly.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, email correspondence, typing, and faxing to support Sales & Marketing activities.
- Assist in employee training and motivation, acting as a role model.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and safeguard proprietary information and company assets.
- Warmly welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and express genuine gratitude for their patronage.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, using appropriate telephone etiquette and producing accurate written documents.
- Foster positive team relationships and support collective goals by responding attentively to colleagues' concerns.
- Monitor team performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and verify various forms of information visually.
- Handle physical tasks involving objects weighing up to 10 pounds safely without assistance.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
