Mixologist

Position Overview

As a Mixologist at Marriott Executive Apartments located in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for expertly preparing and serving beverage orders following precise recipes and measurement standards. Duties include the opening and serving of wine and champagne bottles, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, preparing fresh garnishes, managing the stock of ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and handling soiled glassware and barware efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders accurately as per standardized recipes.
• Serve, issue, and open wine and champagne bottles responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the bar, tables, and tools.
• Prepare fresh drink garnishes and manage inventory of supplies.
• Transport necessary bar supplies and manage washing of soiled items.
• Process different payment methods, manage cash bank at shift end, complete required reports, and secure receipts.
• Secure all liquor and beverage storage areas and complete closing procedures diligently.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security policies and report any hazards or incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
• Provide excellent guest service, anticipating needs and communicating clearly.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet shared goals and respond attentively to colleagues' concerns.
• Follow quality standards and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing during shifts.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisory staff.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum educational qualification of High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Licenses or certifications are not mandatory.
