Role and Location

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive for our Darlington Volkswagen dealership. This permanent full-time role involves specializing in either new or used car sales, working with a dedicated sales team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Working Hours and Salary

The position requires working 44 hours weekly from Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00, Saturday 09:00-17:00, and Sunday 11:00-15:00, with one weekday off and weekend shifts on a rota basis. The salary offers on-target earnings up to £50,000 per annum, including a £25,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission. A company car is also provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers through emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions
• Recommending vehicles tailored to customer requirements
• Coordinating and escorting customers on test drives
• Negotiating final sale prices effectively
• Managing all required documentation for completed sales
• Collaborating with various dealership departments to ensure excellent customer service

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive and motivated attitude, and passion for automotive sales. Ambition and dedication to meeting sales targets are essential. Prior experience in motor trade sales is preferred but not mandatory as we welcome new talent. A valid UK driving license is required since driving luxury vehicles may be part of the role.
