Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical and field sales efforts for geared motors and gearbox overhaul and repair services in OEM and MRO markets.
- Provide pre-sales technical advice and post-sales support to ensure high customer satisfaction and system performance.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new opportunities for geared motor sales and consult Application Engineers/Product Managers as needed.
- Keep CRM data current and work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Workshop teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project scopes, plans and coordinate gearmotor repairs, replacements, and installations from quotation to completion.
- Evaluate technical specs, site conditions, and safety needs to reduce risk and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to maintain full traceability of engineering and sales projects.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of gearmotor failures, including handling warranty claims and providing expert technical recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive repair quotes covering parts, machining, outsourced suppliers, and labor, with a strong commercial awareness.
- Perform on-site technical diagnostics, deliver customer training, and provide expert assistance while adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in power transmission (PT) and geared motor products and applications.
- Demonstrated dedication to health and safety principles, prioritizing a safety-first approach.
- Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Dependable and positive outlook, maintaining high standards of personal conduct.
- Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address challenges constructively.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in team settings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and business systems such as CRM tools, Power BI, Pronto/Green Tree, and Workday.
