About the Role

This leadership role as a second-in-command is well-suited for individuals with a mechanical curiosity and interest. Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily branch operations and lead health and safety initiatives.
  • Manage stock and inventory controls efficiently.
  • Guide and assist the internal sales team to ensure outstanding customer service delivery.
  • Provide product expertise to a wide customer base.
  • Handle front counter customer interactions including inquiries and order processing via phone, email, and direct counter sales.
  • Carry out warehouse tasks such as order picking, packing, and occasional local deliveries.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to position the branch as a preferred supplier.
  • Contribute to planning and executing showroom promotional activities to boost counter sales.

Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a similar role within the industry, including branch or site operations support.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in retail or showroom environments guiding team performance.
  • Outstanding communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with a natural curiosity, comfortable engaging with industrial, construction, and blue-collar sectors.
  • Collaborative team player mindset.
