About the Role
This position is based in London with a hybrid work arrangement. We are seeking a natural communicator who thrives on engaging prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn, tailoring each approach to the audience. The ideal candidate is curious about business operations, resilient to setbacks, and motivated to build a strong sales pipeline, skill set, and career.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the EMEA region by handling both inbound leads from Marketing and outbound prospecting efforts.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients, representing the company professionally and managing objections effectively.
- Proactively source and contact leads through various channels including email, phone, LinkedIn, and video.
- Qualify inbound leads, conduct discovery calls to assess needs and fit, and communicate the company value proposition persuasively.
- Arrange platform demonstrations for Account Executives and facilitate a seamless handover process with clear briefings.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring data cleanliness.
- Collaborate and share best practices within the SDR team fostering continuous learning.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
- Confidence in cold calling and outreach across multiple channels.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple prospects and maintain pipeline hygiene.
- Resilience and a positive attitude when facing rejection or setbacks.
- Experience using CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred, with attention to maintaining data quality.
- Enthusiasm for a career in sales and willingness to grow in a commercial environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior experience as an SDR, BDR, or in outbound sales roles.
- Experience targeting mid-market or enterprise-level accounts.
- Familiarity with HR technology, employee benefits, or SaaS industry sectors.
