We are recruiting a passionate Sales Development Representative dedicated to the Australian market. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate qualified appointments through outbound prospecting and managing lead activity to promote Snowflake's solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to identify and convert leads into scheduled meetings.
- Utilize effective sales and persuasion techniques to secure qualified appointments with potential customers.
- Acquire foundational knowledge of the Snowflake Database to deliver concise introductory presentations.
- Leverage taught sales methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of customer engagements.
- Accurately document, monitor, and maintain records of all outbound sales activity.
- Partner with Sales Directors and participate in customer meetings as needed to support sales processes.
- Attend sales team meetings, vendor training programs, and industry trade shows to stay updated on current technology trends.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience in roles focused on prospecting combined with a university degree from an accredited institution.
- Fluency in spoken and written English with excellent communication abilities across phone, in-person, and written channels.
- Capability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Understanding of workflow systems and their application in enhancing business processes.
- Competence in delivering both formal and informal presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and adjust focus in response to departmental and business objectives.
- Proficiency in PC applications with familiarity of Salesforce.com considered an advantage.
- Self-motivated, capable of independently managing time and priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding goal-oriented roles with notable responsibility.
- Interest in a technology-focused career and ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-moving startup environment.
- Proactive mindset, independent problem-solving skills, and a positive, adaptable attitude.
- Effective presentation and relationship management capabilities.
