This position is remote and available across Canada.
Responsibilities and Contributions
- Create and implement prospecting approaches focused on specific territories or accounts aligned with Splunk's goals.
- Partner with sales teams to build a robust sales pipeline within assigned regions.
- Develop and execute original campaign strategies while enhancing existing marketing efforts through collaboration with sales and marketing departments.
- Perform cold outbound outreach to existing clients and introduce Splunk's portfolio to new prospects.
- Identify key initiatives within accounts, communicate their significance clearly, and demonstrate how Splunk solutions address those needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least one year of proven experience in technology sales or pipeline development.
- Knowledge or experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to evaluate customer challenges holistically and recommend relevant technological solutions.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and tracking activities to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Capability to formulate and execute detailed account plans, identify decision-makers and tailor sales approaches effectively.
- Strong communication skills to concisely convey the value of SaaS solutions to prospective buyers.
- Skill in assessing prospects and scheduling initial meetings by utilizing industry insights and market intelligence.
- Ability to adjust seamlessly to evolving priorities and maintain resilience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Collaborative mindset working effectively with customers, partners, and teams towards shared objectives.
- Excellent time management and independent work skills to prioritize tasks and meet targets efficiently.
- A growth-oriented attitude with customer-centric focus, proactively offering solutions to sales and client challenges.

Cisco provides a highly competitive compensation package including base salary, potential incentive compensation, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits like medical, dental, vision insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
Paid time off includes 10 holidays annually plus a floating holiday, birthday leave, year-end shutdown, personal wellness days, and flexible vacation options depending on employee classification. Sick leave is also provided with carryover benefits. Volunteering days are available as well.
Sales employees have performance-based incentives tied to revenue attainment, with no cap on overtime incentives after 100% quota achievement.
Salary ranges vary by region within the U.S. and include an example range of $84,800 to $107,700 CAD in Canada.
