Key Responsibilities

  • Create prospecting approaches that align with specific accounts or territories using personal insights and Splunk's strategic goals.
  • Work closely with sales teams to build and nurture pipeline within designated regions.
  • Develop and execute customized campaign initiatives, expanding the current campaign resources in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
  • Conduct outbound cold calls and outreach to expand current customer engagement and introduce Splunk's product portfolio to new prospects.
  • Identify and articulate relevant projects and initiatives within assigned accounts, showcasing how Splunk solutions effectively address those needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least one year of proven experience generating sales leads or selling technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in applying tailored solutions to client challenges, providing comprehensive assessments for appropriate product or service recommendations.
  • Proven ability managing sales pipelines, coordinating sales actions, customer engagements, and interpreting key indicators to drive effective revenue results.
  • Experience formulating and executing account plans to identify key stakeholders and customize sales approaches.
  • Skillful in delivering clear, impactful communication to convey the benefits of SaaS offerings to potential clients.
  • Strong aptitude for qualifying prospects based on their potential to convert to customers.
  • Successful track record in prospecting through industry insights and market intelligence to secure initial meetings.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive amid rapidly changing priorities and overcome obstacles with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork with customers, partners, and colleagues toward shared objectives.
  • Effective time management and independent work skills focused on project completion and goal achievement.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role in the U.S. and Canada ranges from $84,800 to $107,700 annually. Individual compensation depends on factors such as location, experience, education, and skills. Additional incentive compensation, equity options, and benefits may be offered.

U.S. benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and life insurance. Employees receive various paid time off benefits including holidays, personal wellness days, vacation, sick leave, and volunteer days.

Sales employees can earn performance-based incentives alongside base pay, with graduated rates based on quota attainment and no cap on incentive earnings for exceeding targets.
