Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative fluent in Italian, based in London working a hybrid schedule (in-office two days per week), you will join a passionate global team focused on boosting restaurant revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to generate sales leads, drive prospect engagement, and provide vital sales support, contributing directly to OpenTable's mission of helping restaurants succeed and enabling exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate high-quality sales leads through outbound phone prospecting to arrange meetings with regional Account Executives.
- Design and implement targeted lead generation campaigns in collaboration with the Restaurant Marketing team.
- Create and deliver compelling sales communications through direct mail and targeted email campaigns aimed at prospective restaurant partners.
- Ensure smooth transition of leads to Account Executives and respond promptly to inquiries, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Keep meticulous records of all sales activities and provide detailed progress reports to management.
- Engage in market research, participate in sales initiatives, and attend regional trade shows as needed, which may involve occasional travel.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Fluency in Italian and English across all communication modes: written, reading, and spoken.
- At least one year of proven experience in telesales or call-center environments, with a track record of surpassing performance targets.
- A customer-focused approach demonstrated by the ability to build trust, resolve client challenges, and support customer success.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, prioritizing collective goals over individual achievement.
- Flexibility to coordinate and communicate effectively across diverse global time zones.
