Job description
About Synopsis
Synopsis is creating the data infrastructure that unlocks private business data scattered across multiple systems such as CRMs, ERPs, databases, spreadsheets, and applications. Before organizations can leverage AI fully, this data must be connected, organized, understood, and made accessible. Traditionally, this process requires months of engineering, multiple tools, costly consultants, and dedicated data teams. Synopsis is revolutionizing this by integrating the entire data infrastructure stack into one platform, enabling companies to connect systems, organize and model data, and rapidly convert it into reliable insights, analytics, workflows, and AI-driven applications much faster than traditional methods.
As a fast-growing early-stage company, Synopsis operates with a lean, high-performing team where individuals own their work, collaborate closely with founders, work swiftly, and see direct results of their contributions. We aim to become a category leader and a household name, so we're seeking motivated, curious, accountable individuals passionate about solving tough problems.
Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position is based in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The compensation includes an $85,000 on-target earnings package with uncapped commissions as well as equity opportunities.
Your main responsibility will be to build a qualified sales pipeline that supports the Account Executives and founders, who stay actively involved in the sales cycle. The role involves aggressive outbound prospecting by making about 300 calls daily, contacting senior decision makers, and creating conversations that open sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify sales pipeline leads for Account Executives and founders.
- Engage proactively with target accounts and personas through various channels including cold calls, emails, and social outreach.
- Conduct approximately 300 outbound calls each day to prospects.
- Secure meetings with senior-level decision-makers that are qualified for further sales engagement.
- Clearly and confidently articulate the value proposition of Synopsis.
- Research and identify reasons to engage prospects specific to their accounts.
- Consistently meet or surpass monthly activity and meeting objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in the sales system on activities and prospects.
- Participate actively in daily coaching sessions, call reviews, role-playing, and skill development.
- Quickly incorporate feedback and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to refining prospecting strategies, messaging, and overall sales processes.
- Help establish the culture and standards of Synopsis’s first SDR team.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are highly driven, competitive, adaptable to feedback, resilient, disciplined, curious, and uphold high integrity. They thrive in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments and are motivated by challenging objectives rather than deterred by them.
You should have prior experience in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally with formal sales training and working in performance-driven, competitive environments. Experience in high-volume outbound prospecting is especially valuable.
Work Environment & Growth
This position is strictly in-person to foster strong team culture, daily coaching, direct feedback, and hands-on learning with founders and senior leadership. Synopsis offers an environment where processes are evolving rapidly to support fast learning and execution.
High performers will have opportunities for merit-based promotions and accelerated career progression into Account Executive roles or leadership positions.
Training & Benefits
- Receive daily, hands-on coaching and feedback from leaders experienced in sales management and training.
- Participate in live call role plays, call reviews, and comprehensive sales methodology training.
- Enjoy exposure to executive communication development and career coaching.
- Gain insight into deal progression from initial contact through closing.
- Eligible full-time employees receive company-sponsored insurance and benefits, ensuring foundational support while taking career risks.
- Opportunity to earn equity and share in the company's long-term value creation.
Additional Information
Interview process involves live cold call scenarios, sales role-plays, real-time coaching, behavior and culture assessments, and in-person meetings with Synopsis team members.
The role requires a strong hunger for growth and excellence and is ideal for those eager to build their career in a high-performance start-up environment that values accountability, rapid learning, and competitive spirit.
