The Dufresne Group, the largest Ashley licensee in Canada operating stores from British Columbia to Ontario, is dedicated to helping customers create homes they love. Our Medicine Hat, Alberta location at 115-1920 Strachan Rd SE is expanding and we are looking for motivated Sales Associates to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting suitable furniture products for their homes.
  • Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets consistently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on product lines, industry trends, and competitive market offerings.
  • Foster customer relationships through telephone follow-ups, engaging online leads, and in-store visits.
  • Stay organized and ensure thorough follow-up on customer requests and needs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or commission-based positions.
  • A proactive and confident approach focused on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication abilities coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with MS Office applications and able to quickly adapt to new software systems.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active on the sales floor for extended periods.
