About The Role

Join H&T Group Ltd, the foremost pawnbroking company in the UK and one of the top jewellery and watch retailers, as a Store Colleague based in Wigan. This full-time position entails 37.5 hours per week with full flexibility across Monday to Sunday to deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic and engaging retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Help customers through various services including pawnbroking, retail product sales, and financial offerings.
• Ensure compliance standards and store presentation are consistently maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Accurately and securely manage financial transactions.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus due to the diversity of customers, although not mandatory.

Candidate Profile and Training

No prior pawnbroking experience is necessary. We seek individuals with a genuine interest in people, strong integrity, and eagerness to learn. Comprehensive training is provided to build confidence and skill in a fast-paced retail setting.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Starting pay rate of £12.75 per hour (annual equivalent £24,863), increasing to £13.44 per hour following successful training completion.
• Potential to earn additional discretionary bonuses up to £2,000 annually based on key performance indicators.
