About the Role
dnata Airport Services Australia is a leading ground handling provider offering a wide range of services across Australia, including ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering, operating internationally across five continents. Currently, we are looking for a Rostering Clerk to join our team at Melbourne Passenger Services Operation. This role involves close collaboration with the Passenger Service Department to ensure adequate staffing levels for shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain aircraft load information and develop rosters and worksheets adhering to airline Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage annual leave requests efficiently.
- Assign rostering patterns and have the capability to design new roster formats in line with Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) requirements.
- Handle and update any changes to schedules promptly.
- Prepare accurate worksheets for the Shift Duty Supervisor to utilize during shifts.
- Engage in training and adapt to new systems introduced within the organization.
- Proactively coordinate staff assignments for training sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding both staff and business matters.
- Work within established budgets and generate in-depth analytical reports.
- Ensure understanding of labour compliance, EBA terms, and relevant government statutory regulations.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management to ensure that compliance with budgetary and operational goals is communicated and adhered to.

Selection Criteria
- Experience with rostering functions.
- In-depth understanding of business operations, including SLAs and Enterprise Agreements interpretation.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with MS Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to collaborate in a small team environment.
