Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Jubail involves managing work permits efficiently. The Permit Receiver's primary duties include coordinating permit issuance by relevant authorities, ensuring all paperwork is thorough and precise before any work commences.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and confirm permit requirements for various operations.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to appropriate bodies.
- Verify compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain regular communication with site supervisors, safety officers, and external stakeholders to monitor permit progress.
- Identify and address issues causing delays in permit approvals.
- Organize and update records, logs, and reports related to permits.
- Support inspections or audits concerning permit adherence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational aptitude and skill in handling multiple permits and deadlines with accuracy.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards, permit-to-work frameworks, and local regulations specific to Jubail or comparable settings.
- Effective coordination and communication capabilities to liaise with supervisors, safety personnel, and regulatory entities.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with problem-solving abilities to detect and rectify permit application gaps.
- Proficient in basic computer operations including digital form management, spreadsheets, and permit tracking systems.
- Prior experience in permit reception, health, safety, and environment (HSE), or industrial site operations is advantageous.
