Room Inspector

Daily Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections every day of all areas cleaned by the housekeeping staff, covering guest rooms and common public spaces. Document all observations and findings in the Housekeeping Inspection Report.
• Distribute newly supplied items destined for guest rooms to respective Room Attendants as part of routine inventory management.
• Report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department promptly, either through formal maintenance work orders or direct verbal communication.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper in conducting training sessions for Room Attendants, focusing on enhancing performance areas identified as weak in evaluations.
• Assist with assigning guest rooms to Room Attendants based on analysis from the Housekeeping Report to ensure effective workload distribution.
• Contribute to cleaning tasks in rooms or public areas and assist with laundry duties when workload demands increase.
