Role Purpose

As a Room Attendant, you will foster an environment of premium comfort and warmth, ensuring every guest’s experience feels indulgent and welcoming. Through diligent care and high standards, you will transform ordinary stays into extraordinary memories.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and service guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, public, and back-of-house areas to meet Sofitel's luxury standards.
• Perform scheduled and deep cleaning duties, including carpets, grout, shower heads, mini bars, air conditioning units, and cabinetry.
• Assist with turndown service and support colleagues with bed-making, extra beds, rollaway beds, cots, and equipment for accessible rooms.
• Ensure impeccable presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the hotel premises.
• Respond courteously and discreetly to guest requests, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and economically following health and safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, ensuring neatness and full functionality of trolleys and storerooms.
• Support laundry activities, linen distribution, stock replenishment, deliveries, and perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Promptly report maintenance problems, defective equipment, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Follow security, key control, and guest confidentiality procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping within luxury hotel settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, complemented by effective problem-solving abilities.
• Good physical fitness, capable of standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling for long durations.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to upholding high cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of proper cleaning methods and safe chemical handling.
• Fluent English required; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Positive mindset and flexibility to manage challenging situations successfully.
