Job Overview

Wood Australia invites expressions of interest from skilled Riggers and Scaffolders to contribute in the Surat Basin, western Queensland. This role demands expertise in rigging, lifting, slinging, and scaffolding, guaranteeing safe and high-standard task execution.

Work Environment and Benefits

  • Work patterns follow a 15/13 roster with 10-hour shifts across five days weekly.
  • Competitive pay includes base rates plus casual loading, overtime, and site allowances.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals will support crane operations, rigging, and slinging while erecting and dismantling various scaffolds including system, tube and clip, hanging, and cantilevered types.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in oil and gas or related industrial sectors is essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • A commitment to personal and team safety.
  • Ability to manage rigging tasks supporting crane and load movements effectively.
  • Proficiency in assembling and taking down scaffolds of various types ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Required Certifications

  • Current high-risk licences for scaffolding and rigging.
  • Working at Heights (WAH) certificate.
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) qualification.
  • Scaffolding certificates at Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced levels.
  • Rigging certificates at Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced levels.

Additional Information
