Role Summary

The Pack Price Manager will be responsible for creating and managing the Pack Price Architecture (PPA) specific to the Saudi market, targeting maximization of profitable growth across various channels including DTS, SSV, Wholesale, and Distributor segments. This role is critical for aligning portfolio, pricing, and trade spend strategies that are tailored to channels, trade partners, and consumers while ensuring strong financial discipline.

The role will facilitate seamless integration of pricing strategies into execution plans, chair pricing councils, and lead cross-functional teams to convert strategic initiatives into measurable market results. Additionally, the position encompasses SKU rationalization to streamline operations without sacrificing market relevance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and govern the Pack Price Architecture for approximately 80% of Saudi business across key distribution channels.
  • Develop a strategic 3-year pricing roadmap and yearly operational plans focusing on brand, pack, and channel-specific pricing and financial impact.
  • Lead Pricing Council meetings enforcing data-driven pricing decisions, performance monitoring, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Embed PPA within Perfect Store segmentation frameworks to ensure synchronized channel and occasion pricing strategies from design through market delivery.
  • Coordinate multi-department taskforces involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category teams to deliver initiatives, track outcomes, and adjust tactics.
  • Manage SKU portfolio simplification to enhance focus, minimize supply chain complexities, and harmonize with Middle East markets.
  • Promote mix optimization strategies by setting targets, enhancing key SKUs, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Oversee trade spend governance to ensure budget discipline, compliance, and return on investment across channels.
  • Utilize global pricing platforms like P3, PEA, Revolution, and North Star for elasticity modeling, competitor impact simulations, and ROI enhancement.
  • Provide senior leadership with actionable insights covering risk assessments, variance explanations, and growth prospects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of six years experience in FMCG with at least two years focused on Revenue Management or Pricing.
  • Expertise in Pack Price Architecture development and trade spend control.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, elasticity evaluation, and ROI improvement techniques.
  • Experienced in using pricing tools such as PEA, P3, Revolution, and North Star.
  • Strong analytical and strategic reasoning abilities.
  • Influential leader with proven capability to engage senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional consensus.
  • Executive maturity balancing both immediate and long-term business needs.
  • Leadership skills in unstructured, cross-functional environments without direct authority.
